01 / STORY

Why insigz exists.

Decisions about the physical world — energy infrastructure, undersea cables, vessel traffic, sanctions enforcement — are still being made from PDFs, screenshots, and slides built the morning of the meeting.

The data exists. Vessel-tracking feeds, grid telemetry, sanctions designations, real-time news — every layer of the world we care about is being measured and published continuously by someone.

What's missing is the layer between the raw feeds and the people who have to act. insigz is that layer. A canonical model that fuses sources into observations, observations into entities, entities into events, events into cases, cases into reports — every claim traceable, every report signed.

We started in 2024 after watching too many strategy sessions, intelligence briefings, and policy decisions run on stale information. We built the tool we wished we had.
